access web server using raw HTTP

Hello Everybody,

How can we request a web server and get the response without using
HttpWebRequest and HttpWebResponse object.

I mean, how can we access it at a raw level.

Regards

Use a low-level socket (such as TcpSocket) and have it send requests
that conform to HTTP. Then parse the response.

I presume you're trying to learn HTTP here. Reading the RFC (
http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2616.html ) is a start, and packet sniffing
your web browser might help to speed up the learning process.

I notice that you also asked this separately in
microsoft.public.dotnet.framework. It's not a good idea to multi-post
as it wastes people's time. It's better to cross-post if you don't know
which group something is most relevant in.
