Reporting Services Book Available

I would like to introduce you officially to my book "Reporting Services in
Action" and let you know about its availability. I wrote this book for
information workers, system administrators and developers who are planning
to leverage Reporting Services to author, manage and distribute RS-based
reports. It is a solution-oriented guide that teaches you RS by practical
examples.

Here are some of the solutions that are included in the book:

- Extending reports with custom code to add report forecasting features

- Exporting reports as XML to expose them as RSS feeds

- Integrating RS with WinForm application in the form of a Report Wizard

- ASP.NET web control for client and server-side report generation

- Authoring dynamic reports with OLAP and Office Web Components

- Implementing an enterprise reporting façade for supporting multiple report
providers and application-based security

- Extending Reporting Services to report off ADO.NET datasets, delivering
reports to Web services, and custom security

- Evaluating RS performance and capacity

The book will be published in July but if you are in a hurry, you can order
an Early Access subscription through the publisher now. This allows you to
get the finalized chapters for immediate download in PDF format. More
information about this process can be found at
http://www.manning.com/lachev. There, you can also find a menu link to
download the book source code.

Thanks to those of you that will decide to buy the book. I sincerely hope
that you find it as enjoyable to read as it has been to write!

Teo, I wouldn't buy anything you wrote. You suck <g>

All kidding aside, I will definitley pick up your book. You are one of the
smartest people I know. I have to post this message to the list, because
you didn't put your email address in the post, but I did include mine.
