Link back to previous page before and after post back

Tim
I have a search page that return a datagrid and when the user click an item to edit takes the user to the update page. After the user updated the information, I like to have a button/hyperlink to take the user back to the previous page that contains the result the user searched for. Is this possible and how to do it in vb.net? Thanks!
