How To Handle Boolean Returns-Stored Function Oracle

Hi,
I am at my wits end. It would be great if someone can help. Wehave a Stored Function(Oracle) that returns a boolean that wecannot change to return something else and we cannot write awrapper function ( Cos of copyright issues).
The Issue is both Oracleclient.Oracletype( No Support forBoolean) and oledb.Oledbtype class( Does not Support Boolean forOracle but does for other databases-Access..(Throws an error))does not Support Boolean( Since Boolean is Not a OracleDatatype, Rather a Pl/Sql DataType). Is there a way to call astored function,that returns or takes a boolean, from .Netframework. If not, si there a work around?.
I would greatly appreciate it if some MCSE can help.
