After using VS.Net without trouble for some time, I am now unable to
create a new project or add a component to an existing project.
Existing code compiles and runs OK.
The problem started after installing Office 2003 Pro (over Office XP).
Attempting to create a new project in either VB or C# results in an
"Unregistered Libary" error. Attempting to add a new component (eg a
windows form, code module, or class etc) to an existing project
results in "Unspecified Error".
The onset of this behaviour was accompanied also by the loss of the
Microsoft controls from the toolbox, but reinstating them has not
solved the problem.
A repair of VS.Net has not solved it, nor has removal and
reinstallation.
A scour of the Microsoft KB has not produced a solution either, the
only articles I could find relating to similar behaviour did not solve
the problem.
Any ideas?
