Monitoring event log

Hi

is there any way to get informed when writing a .net application/C++ dll or service, when something critical (by priority) is added to the local machines event log (e.g. via callback)?

Thanks a lot

Look at the EventLog.EntryWritten event. In turn EventLogEntry (passed in
the event args) exposes the EntryType of the event.
