VS 2002 not working

I got a free version of Visual Studio 2002 Professional from a Microsoft .NET Student Conference in Toronto about a year ago. I had to wait until I got Windows XP to install it and now that I have, it says the key is incorrect. I have un-installed and re-installed the program many times and I know I entered the key correctly. Getting online support through e-mail is very difficult since there is no option for .net users. I would really like to install it so I can learn it, but I don't know what to do. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Thanks

Is the "free" copy a 90/180 day eval? if so it may be that you got one of the ones that MS put out (about the time you mentioned) that, instead of being valid for (example) today + 90 they where scheduled for release in December and are only good till the fixed date of (If I recall correctly) March 15, 2003.

If what you have is not a "demo" then you have bigger problems

If you need a new demo, look for your local .Net Users group (you can start at www.ineta.org) and they should have plenty of new demo copies for you

No, it's not an evaluation version. They gave us full versions of the software and with some extras... I'm just not sure who to contact about it

Thanks
