Bound control on tabcontrol has no value

Hi,

I'm having some troubles with bound controls on a windows form.
When I start the form, the dataset gets filled with records. Then the
controls on the form are bound to fields in the dataset. Works fine.

One bound control is on a tabcontrol (tab 3). The .text property of the
control has the value 1001. This strange thing happens:

If I don't switch to tab3 first but stay on tab1, the bound control on tab3
has the value "". But when I switch to tab3 first and then back to tab1 the
bound control on tab3 suddenly has the right value "1001".
Does anyone know what this can be?
