Internet explorer and Microsoft word

Hi,
I have a vb.net app which loads/views a Microsoft word doc using the web
browser control, The problem I have is that when closing the form
WinWord.exe is still running.

I have tried the following code in the close event.
AxWebBrowser1.Navigate("about:blank")

but WinWord exe is still running

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
