windows component update for visual studio .NET

I am trying to install visual studio .NE
The system prompts for windows componet update. When i click that it asks for windows update CD, which eventually I dont have. The readme.txt doc displays the following link
ms-help://MS.VSCC/MS.MSDNVS/vbcon/html/vboriUpgradingApplications.htm for upgrading applications and this link doesnt work. How do i know which all components I require for windows update. I have configured my IIS and related HTTP-Kee[p Alive stuff.

Hi Vivek,

I have never seen an update using that button. Sometimes it says that you
can look on the regular Windows update page however I have seen often here
in the newsgroups that it often does not work.

However you can look at the MSDN download page for SDK's or other updates

http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/

I hope this helps?
