Programmatically Sending Email (with web links)

Hi All,

I'm currently sending email with a backend program that is being used
to monitor data in a SQL2000 database.

Basically I'm trying to figure out how to add a link to the email body
that has text instead of the really, really, long "http://..." string
that is generated by the program. The "http://" string shows up fine
and you can click on it but a nice hyperlink version that read "Click
here" (or something like that would be much nice for the recipient.
I'm not sure where to really start so any help would be greatly
appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Cor,

Thanks for the response but I'm not seeing the links you mentioned in
your post only the text from my original post. Would you post them again
or just email them to me?

Thanks again for the help,
Mike

Hi Mike,

The message below was the message to Mohamed.

You can also have a look at this I got them from Jay B.

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...figuration.asp

http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...vr_cdo_top.asp
The four CDOs are (in chronological order):

- CDO.DLL : CDO version 1.2.1
- CDONTS.DLL : CDO version 1.2.1 for Windows NT Server (not the same as CDO
version 1.2.1!)
- CDOSYS.DLL : CDO for Windows 2000
- CDOEX.DLL : CDO for Exchange 2000 Server
I hope this helps a little bit?
