Getting COM interop reference Identities at runtime...

I have a windows app that has a few Interop assemblies.
If I run it on a machine that doesn't have the required COM libraries, I get
nasty COMExceptions.

What I would like to do is check to see if the required libraries are
registered when first starting my app.
As I couldn't find an easy way to do this, I thought I might just get the
Identities of each of the ActiveX type assembly references using reflection
and look them up in HKLM\Software\Classes\TypeLib.

However Assembly.GetReferencedAssemblies returns an array of AssemblyName
objects and these don't seem to have the type (ActiveX or Assembly) or the
Identity (or CLSID).

Is there an easier way to check COM interop references?
Is there a way to get the Identity or CLSID of COM interop references at
runtime?
