IS VSLive the PDC?

OC
Has the PDC been renamed VSLive or are these still two separate events.

If they are separate, does anyone know which would be more useful from a
developers perspective.

Separate events. The PDC is a Microsoft event, whereas VSLive is
arranged by Fawcette.

developers perspective.

It depends on what you're interested in. PDC is generally about future
technology. VSLive is somewhat more about current bits.
