UML Tools with .NET

WJ
I used to use Rational Rose way back when. Does the new .NET 2003 offer any
tools for class diagramming, sequence diagramming, and other UML mockups?

The Enterprise Architect edition ships with a version of Visio that provides
some pretty good UML capabilities, even round-trip engineering.

You can still use Rational Rose
http://www-306.ibm.com/software/awdt...loper/rosexde/
but as Klaus points out eith with the EA version of VS.NET, you have visio
integration and it's support for UML is very good.

.... which, whilst improved, is still rubbish!

I'd recommend Enterprise Architect from Sparx Systems
http://www.sparxsystems.com.au

It doesn't cost a great deal (<$100) and is a stunning tool. I've been using
it for close on 2 years now and i can vouch for how prolific these guys are.
They are working on V4 which will support UML2.0 which is cool!

That's nice. I've used pretty much every version of Rose since 1998 and many
other UML modeling tools and I find Visio to be adequate.
I'd recommend Enterprise Architect from Sparx Systems

That's also nice. But it doesn't automatically mean everything else is
'rubbish'.
