simple C# problem

find code below, but do not understand the meaning. Code attach below.
What is the meaning of get {}, set{}?
Is get { return _AssetBrowser; } same as return _AssetBrowser;?
I guess if the object.AssetBrowser = xxx, then call set {...},
if xxx=object.AssetBrowser , then call get{...}
right? By the way, where can I find the document for this kind of style

Get and set are used for setting the values of properties.

Set and Get calls are used to set the properties. They have lower overhead than explicit functional calls to set the properties
