Service Release download

From the Visual Studio Development Environment Help/Check for Updates menu, I receive a message stating that VS.Net encountered errors while trying to download required files and that I should check my Browser configuration and try again.

OK, what do I check for?

Dont worry, there might be some problems with your internet configurations.

You must configure your IE for internet to enable VS.NET to check for updates

I have the same problem. Can you be more explicit about "configure your IE
for internet to enable VS.NET " ?

I have the same problem. But...when I go to Microsoft's download center, I
can't find a definitive .Net update? Are there any? I'm on Microsoft
Development Environment 2002 V 7.0.9466 and .NET Framework 1.0.

I have seen updates to the Framework to 1.1, but nothing on the programming
environment. Can anyone provide a direct link?

Hi Paul,

I have not seen them, but there are SDK's by instance the directX that
becomes a part of your Visual.Studio.Net and more of that stuff you can find
those the best by starting at
..
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads/

I hope this helps?
