AppUpdater config files

I guess I really have 2 Questions here
We're currently using the sample AppUpdater (in the Microsoft.Samples namespace) and trying to pull down an application config file for the application using appupdater
The problem is that whenever a .config file exists in the update folder on the server, the client does not properly update itself. It will grab the other files in the folder but no the config file. The update is not completed and the application continues to run as the old version, Any thoughts

The other question is that if we've deployed the default AppUpdater and want to have it update itself on the client, is there any way to do that? I don't think sending the AppUpdater.dll would work b/c it ends up in the application folder rather than the AppUpdater path

Thanks a lot.
