C++ Runtime library assertion

We have developed a C# application with Studio 2002 and framework 1.0
In this app, we have about 10 sockets that communicate through tcp/ip and w
also have some 'platform invoke' calls to a third party dll

Today we had a 'crash' and the following popup was displayed

*************************
Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime librar
Assertion failed
Program: ---
File: ..\..\..\nt\ssock\src\ntssockc.
Line:105

Expression: 1 == pConnection->fCallChec

ABORT RETRY IGNOR
*************************

If we press ignore the program just continues and everything seems to be working
But does anyone have a clue what has happened
Can it be our program that does something wrong
Can it be something in the framework
Can it be the third-paty dll

Please respond if someone has an idea about this
