Novell about to creamate every last Windos desktop

It's all about the desktop and it's all about Novell.

Can there be any doubt that Parmisano is gonna sandpaper Bill Gate ass
with Suse?

With IBM hiring more than 15,000 to add to it's massive legions, anybody
can do the math. Novell desktops will virally swarm from Armonk to
Seattle and beyond in 2004.

Will people even /remember/ the name Microsoft in 3 or 4 years?

My guess is the *trivial pursuit* people already have a card made up for it.

Prove to me that Novell is targeting the desktop .

If they do , I think they can grab a significant share ,
but they won't get the whole thing .
Just like EDS and Perot systems
never took all of IBM's business ...
Unless you think the desktop is a natural monopoly .

Novell would have to provide a better API ,
plus a better office suite ... _ And _ sell it .

I vote for beyond.
Bangalore, Pakistan, Malaysia and so forth.
That's where the jobs are going, and IBM isn't the only one.

Will colleges in the USA even have an I/T program in say 10 years?
