user control (tabindex)

How to set the TabIndex of a "server control" inside of a
user control? I've tried to create a public property in the
user control called "TabIndex", and then set up the value
during the "Pre Render" event of the web form. Didn't work.

When i navigate with the "tab" key in my web form, the
user control is always the last one to get focus.

Any help ? What can i do ?
