Help with Visual Basic.NET

Help Please,

I installed VB.NET 2003 and I want to develop apps for a
pocket pc 2003 device. I have installed the pocket pc
2003 sdk but there is still no icon in VB to start a smart
device or pocket pc project.

Have I missed something?

Hi,

You need VS.Net 2003 professional or higher.

Thanks Ken,

So is there no way that I can produce pocket pc apps written in visual
basic.net standard (it only installs visual studio.net "prerequisits".
I could not see anything on Microsofts site that said I needed the pro
version??

Thanks again, it has been driving me nuts!

Hi,

As Ken stated, you need Visual Studio Pro or higher. I suspect the
requirements are stated somewhere, but I cannot point you to them
specifically.
