The version is per assemlby and you will find it in assemblyinfo.cs file.
There is no support for updating version (there is, but it updates at every
build).

Hello,
Is there any way in the Visual Studio .NET (Version 2002) IDE to type in
the version for the project. In VB5 you would do Project -> Properties and
type it in there. And you could also set an option to increase it at each
build.
Thanks,
