Understand: Limewire Will Be The Boss of Google

Here's the search architecture that goes beyond the /web/ style of olde
Google. It's why p2p will destroy the centralized web server...

I bought the /pro/ edition last year and used it a lot; but then got the
willies when the feds started to crack down on the file sharing.

I really liked it because it's java i could run it on linux.

i was into finding Beatles rarities... found a great /acoustic/
Strawberry Fields Forever.

Now I buy used CDs on Amazon...safer until the heat is off

Chicken . I wouldn't ever be afraid of that .

If I ever bought an MP3 player ( ogg player ? ) ,
I'd probably check out LimeWire.COM .
But I like radio a lot , Lots of good songs and variety .
And streaming is not a option for me ,
I like to keep my computer turned off ,
and my cheap-ass ISP doesn't approve of streaming .
( And even if it did , the pipe would be too small )

Well you could still use Limewire. You can download the basic program
for free. And it's an ftp based program, not a streaming program. You
put in a search term like "Pink Floyd" and it goes and finds those mp3
files, and then downloads them to your hard disk. You can play mp3s
with plenty of free software and just hook your Senns to the computer.
You can set it up to search overnight while you're sleeping and then
have a bunch of mp3 to listen to the next day.

You should try it just to see what I'm talking about with search. The
Limewire engine continues to search for as long as you let it. It's not
a one shot click and search like Google. It's like watching the planes
arrive on a schedule terminal, you can see it going around, evaluating
the quality of servers and then downloading the files based on your
charateristics.

Legally, all you have to do is to not allow other people to download the
mp3s from your computer. It's peer 2 peer, so you are just a node on
the Gnuetella network, both client and server. The future....

Hi Gen. T'Seng's Chicken , Re: Limewire ,

I would , except I have no sound card in my white box .

My tiny radio is sitting on my chest right now ,
I can quickly switch channels or lower the volume .
David Bowie's _ China Girl _ is on 96.5 FM Seattle
right now ... very nice :
She says ... Shhhhh .... She says ... She says ...
And when I get excited ,
my little China girl says ,
" Oh baby , just you shut your mouth "

I saw the hottest chic in the parking lot of Top Food and Drug today up
on Kent E. Hill. Long Blonde hair to the belt line. Low slung jeans,
about five foot five, hot figure, thin waist and bubble butt with about
an inch of skin at the navel showing.

I almost stood on my chair at Starbucks to watch her get in her car.

It's a wonder someone didn't turn your butt in to the Kent Police Dept.
That area is notorious for perverts and nutters.
