one of my buddies at Lehman Brothers was telling me about Caldera and
how they were going to explode (Leham was one of the co's that took them
public). They sure did, the IPO was great. But everything I bought is
tragically overvalued. Would love to hear the hot tips you guys have.
Ok, here are two of them for free.
Somebody in taking a short position is going to make millions on SCO stock
when it craters.
MS stock is not going to do the same thing, obviously, as long as someone
can keep the kiddie CEO in check, but over time it is going into a serious
decline that can also make some serious money for investors. This has
nothing to do with the fact that Windows sucks as an OS (Lousy products
have nothing to do with sales success, given the cretins that our
educational system is producing), but the fact that the leading company
always takes a major fall after peaking. It ALWAYS happens - from
Standard oil a hundred years ago to IBM recently. The problem is the
timing of the investment which I don't pretend to be able to tell.

(I give no credence to the theory that Microsoft quality peaked with Dos
3.3 and has gone downhill ever since - I think it started before then,
specifically on that ominous night when Mommy and Daddy Gates did their
thing.)
