system tray

Is there a way to monitor system tray to wait for a
specific icon (notifyIcon) or a specific balloon tip. I
need write a program to wait for the balloon tip or the
notifyIcon to show up, then double click the icon or the
balloon tip.

If you need Balloon tool tips specifically, you are going to have to get
into the Win32 API. CreateWindowEx, InitCommonControlsEx and SetWindow are
the API's you'll need to use. John Paul Mueller has a really good
discussion of it in his .NET Framework Solutions, In Search of the Lost
