How to retrieve OS version

How would I retrieve the Windows version in a vb.net program (I want it
displayed in a label)?

Just a quick question. I am running WindowsXP PRO and using:
System.Environment.OSVersion.ToString
returns, WindowsNT 5.1.2600 , yet, Windows System Properties in Control
Panel Shows Windows XP PRO !!
