resources needed to port code from MFC/C++ to C#

Hello everyone,
I have some code (MFC/C++) from some books I've inherited and I'm looking to
port the code to C#. However, I don't know enough about the .NET base
classes and class libraries to port to the code to C#. I assume .NET's
framework replaces MFC. So are their any resources specific to porting
existing MFC/C++ code to C#? Please post URL. By the way if my above
assumption is incorrect please tell me.

Thanks in advance.
