Deployment and services

I M trying to build a setup project for our product.
It is a set of applications, among them there is a service.
I want to be able to start the service during installation and stop it
somewhen during installation.
additionally, how do I get the Ip address of my machine, and some more
information.
And how do I control the order of those actions.

I hope I made my self clear.

Regards and lot of thanks(in advanced),
Janiv Ratson.

For installation actions, have you examined this doc page?
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/en...stomAction.asp

For IP Address

I checked this page.
Still, I don't know how to start/stop/pause a service during instillation, I
also do not know how do I set the time during installation to do any of
those actions.

I know the Network API to get the IP address, but it is not too comfort to
work that way, I'd except a set of scripts/actions to come with the
deployment projects ...

Why do I need to write everything by myself, it is a very simple scripts ...

10x,
Janiv Ratson.
