Get the active application

Folks

Does anyone know how to find the active application (i.e.
the application which is receiving the key and mouse
input) at run time using C# or VB?

Regards
Nasser.

I am doing the same thing in C# but I couldn't find a .NET function for it.

I am using the API call instead.
[DllImport("user32.dll")] private static extern IntPtr
GetForegroundWindow();
