Dedendency Error

Hi,

I am using VB.NET and I have a project called
BusinessLogicLayer and one called Rating. I have rebuild
both projects and I can not get rid of the following
error->

Error: The dependency 'BusinessLogicLayer,
Version=1.0.1428.28938, Culture=neutral' in
project 'Rating' cannot be copied to the run directory
because it would conflict with
dependency 'BusinessLogicLayer, Version=1.0.1428.38682,
Culture=neutral'.

No error code just the message above. I think it is some
kind of version discrepency. But I have deleted the
BusinessLogicLayer.dll and rebuild it like 20 times. I
have searched the disk for any old copies of the dll that
could be creating a conflict and have deleted all copies.

Both projects are in the same solution? If so, are you using Project refs?
Have you tried adding/removing the references?

Hi Alex,

I agree with Mike. In addition, as documented in the KB article 313512,
"Microsoft strongly recommends that you use project references instead of
assembly references."

I look forward to your response.

Have a nice day!
