Backup .NET Studio custom configuration

Hello,
is there a simple method to take configuration of Visual Studio .NET with
me traveling or back it up to some disk folder? I want to reinstall my OS so
I would like to preserve my Studio's configuration settings through my local
profile reset. The same way I would like to set up the same settings on some
other computers.

That would be great but unfortunately Microsoft decided to (again) scatter
bits and pieces of the configuration all over the place. Most of what you
want is in the registry, under
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VisualStudio\ 7.1 but there are also
files under your profile's Application Data folder.

I don't think there's a way to cleanly copy settings from one computer to
another. There used to be a utility that did this for VC++5.
