Visual Studio .net installation problem

The hard drive on my developement computer got corrupted
recently so I reformatted, installed Win2KPro, Visual
Studio .net Enterprise Developer (2002) Entering the
appropriate "Product Key" - So far, so Good.

Then I installed the Visual Studio .net Enterprise
Architect (2003) Upgrade (2 CDs instead of 4CDs in the
2002 package) No error messages. It doesn't ask
for "Product Key"

When I try to launch Visual Studio I get the "Please enter
a valid product key to use this product - setup has
detected that the product key is missing or invalid."

The knowledge base articles I have found tell me to remove
and reinstall. I've done that three times now with the
same result.

Is there a command line instruction that wil prompt me for
the Prodict ID. It is a far-from-trivial mater to
uninstall and re-install two versions of Visual Studio .net
It takes most of a day each time.

Whatever help you can give would be greatly appreciated.
