Migrating code to Mono (Linux .NET) - Windows Free

gnu
I'd my Windows free day! I don't have any more Windows machines within
10 yards of my house: Linux replaced everything: home theater box,
servers, laptops, and desktops. My IPAQ runs familiar linux 0.7.1,
OPIE windows environment. Most of my machines use Debian based
distributions: Knoppix, Morphix, etc.
I had a little app developed with Compact .NET Framework. Perhaps Java
is more suitable for that (with excellent GPL Exclipse IDE), but I
wanted to keep it C#. Anyways: the app is mostly graphics based around
OnPaint event, but I'm reluctant to use Windows.Forms, since they're
too proprietary, better move to Gtk# (GPE2), or Qt# (OPIE) better
suited for Linux.
After this app is migrated, I kiss Windows final bye-bye.
