.Net solutions with Unix

Hello

Does anybody know if there is some kind of virtual machine
type program for .Net programs on a Unix machine?
Basically, what I want to know is if a program written in
VB.Net is able to be run on a Unix machine? I remember
hearing at a Norex teleconference that this might be
available soon.

Thanks
