Quick question regarding Progress bar

Hi

i wanted to find out how to get the smooth display for
the progress bar as opposed to the rectangles that are
currently displayed. In VB6 there used to be a property
that i had to change, but i cannot find it in .net.

i am currently using the code:

Dim I As Integer
I = 0
Do While I < 2000
PBar.Value = I
I = I + 1
Loop
PBar.Value = 0

to show the Progress bar increase. I am constantly using
this. Can i create it in one place so that i can just
simply call it instead of re-writing the whole thing? If
so, where do i do i declare this and what syntax do i use
to call it?
can anyone help me out?

thx
