Server Explorer Error

I am getting this error in the Server Explorer when I
click on "Servers" icon:

The type initializer for "System.Net.Dns" threw an
exception.
The type initializer for "System.Net.Sockets.Socket" threw
an exception.

I am running Visual Studio 2003 in Windows XP.

(the server explorer in VS.NET 2002 runs fine.)

any idea?

I to am getting this strange error, It just started recently, the only thing
I have changed on my system is for some reason, maybe my desire to inflict
personal harm, I installed AOL 9 on my main machine since I had a friend
with a Dialup account who wanted to see the diff, I figured it couldn't hurt
right? I mean MS and AOL worked through the issues they had versions ago by
now right????

I'm uninstalling now....

that didn't work, I think I will need to uninstall and re-install VS, which
is very time consuming.... maybe a fix files or fix file registrations, or
check files for corruption option in the next version of VS??????
