VS.NET 2003 Crash

Occationally, when I attempt to build (ctrl-shift-B), the
IDE closes abruptly, without saving open docs and no
prompt. Why?

This sometimes happens when changing a control's
datasource in the designer.

I'm running VS.NET 2003 under WinXP with 1GB Ram.

Any thoughts?
