Cannot access netware server from Windows (VB.NET) Service

I've tried both the FileInfo class as well as the old VB
file io methods to access a file on a netware server from
a Windows Service build using VB.Net and no method I've
tried works. I get a "The network name cannot be found"
error from .Net. The file really does exist and the
access works when accessing a MS server. I've tried
several different "accounts" for the service and none make
any difference in the behavior. Any thoughts on what I
might try differently (I've checked the Novell website and
what I'm doing "should" work but it may be pre-.Net
info.) Also, this works when launching the app as an
executable, it only fails as a Windows Service.

Thanks!!!

Glenn
