Hi Everyone:
We are trying to configure our Intranet to be able to support ASP.net Web
Applications. We are Running Windows 2000 with Application Center on 2
boxes. When we check our applications on the cluster master they run great,
but when we check them on the cluster member we get
Server Application Unavailable
The web application you are attempting to access on this web server is
currently unavailable. Please hit the "Refresh" button in your web browser
to retry your request.
Administrator Note: An error message detailing the cause of this specific
request failure can be found in the application event log of the web server.
Please review this log entry to discover what caused this error to occur.
When we look in the event log we see this error.
Event ID: 1088
Source: ASP.NET 1.1.4322.0
Description: Failed to execute request because the App-Domain could not be
created. Error: 0x80070005 Access is denied.
Here is what we have done already:
- We verified the versions of ASP.net running on both servers are the same
- We disabled "File and folder Permissions - Synchronize file and folder
permissions [NTFS only]
- We verified the permissions are the same on each server and that the
ASPNET user on each server has "Change" access to the folders where the
applications live
- We has made an attempt to use a domain account, but this did not seem to
work for us.
Can someone please tell us what the MS Recommended configuration is for
Application Center and help us with why we are seeing this problem on our
member box.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks much,
Anthony Biondo Jr.
