Refering a COM component in VS.NET

Hi,

If we reference a COM component directly in VS.NET, VS.NET will create a
..dll file in our application folder.
Is this .dll file the same as if we would use tlbimport.exe to create the
RCW ?

Thanks.

Yes, if you run TlbImp with the /sysarray option.
