memory size query

hi,

i have written a vb app that seems to consume a pretty big chunk of system
memory (25 - 30 mb).

is this just due to the dotnet framework being carted around whenever the
app runs or are there components that can be left out or options changed
that might reduce the memory load?

thanks
michael
