just crete a reference to system.web if u r using Vs.Net
when u create a VB project this library is not referenced
by default.
This is an Example from MSDN, I create a class that does
pretty much the same but its kinda easier to do that once
and use it as many time u want..
Dim email As New System.Web.Mail.MailMessage()
email.To = "RecipientAddress"
email.From = "SenderAddress"
email.Body = "MessageText"
email.Subject = "SubjectText"
email.BodyFormat = Web.Mail.MailFormat.Text
System.Web.Mail.SmtpMail.SmtpServer = "SmtpServerName"
System.Web.Mail.SmtpMail.Send(email)
I am looking now classes to read Emails, but I think i
will have to Build One based on the protocol..or maybe buy
ine from the Net. :(

I need to send email from VB .Net. However, everything
I've tried does not work. I am running XP with no IIS and
have DSL through SBC. Can anyone tell me what would be thebest way to do this?
Thanks
