Help me !! Locking a row !!

Hi,
I'm developing a web application with SQL Server 2000
Database. i query records through DataSet.. I want the
records that i query through dataset to be locked and
other than the query maker should not be able to access
those records (Share Lock),. Since ADO .NET is a
Disconnected architecture, i'm confused.. Pls help me do
this..
Thanks
