Installing VS.NET Enterprise

Hello

I had VS.NET Ent.(not Beta) installed on XP Pro.
It suddenly wouldn't run any applications ... so a reinstall was suggested.

Well after some work to uninstall the thing I am trying to reinstall.

I continually get a Setup Failed with "Action Start message out of order"
right at the end of setup.

This is what I've done :

I checked the c:\inetpub\wwwroot folder's permissions .. SYSTEM and
Administrators have full rights
This folder is the folder for the default Web site
the share wwwroot$ exists and all permisions are there

I copied all the files to a HD and am installing from that (so it isn't a
CD-ROM firmware issue)
Its always on this file :
f:\vs70builds\9466\vs\src\vssetup\setupexe\sitmana gers\brooklyn10\cmsiproges
shandlervs.cpp

I am running from my F: but this folder doesn't exist.

I found two places in the MSI log that say Return Value 3. .. here is an
exerpt from that log file.

1st Return Value 3 and a few line prior

according to what I've read, this would be the offending instruction
VSCA_AddVsDiscoHttpHandler ... I can not find anything that discusses this
anywhere.
I've found plenty of the AddShareandPermissions (which points to the
inetpub\wwwroot folder permissions)

Thaks for any help you can give.

Jon
