VS.NET Auto saving in Design mode

Hi all,

Not sure if this is the right place to post this message, sorry.

Working in VS.NET for VB.NET, when switching from a design page and code
page. VS keeps
I think saving. IT's Saving to frequently for me!!! Takes like 15 to 45
seconds to do this and I cannot do anything.
Driving me crazy. Can I just set it to save every 15 or 20 minutes?
Any help on this would be great.

thanks
Gerry

Hi Gerry,

Do you mean that it takes 15 to 45 seconds to switch the designer view to
the code view?

If so, it is not saving, just regenerating the code.

To trouble shoot the problem, please try the following suggestions:

1. Disable your anti-virus software to see the results.
2. Reboot to the Safe Mode to see the results.

If you have any quesitons, please post back.

Hi Gerry,

Some more questions and suggestions:

1. Reboot to the safe mode to see the result (mentioned in my previous post)
2. Please remove all add-ins to see the result.

3. When the problem occurs, how many forms are opened in the IDE? If you
open only one form, does the problem persists?
