PROBLEMS INSTALLING VS.NET 2003 (HELP!!)

Hi All,

Fistly I'd like to apologise, I know this is probably not the right news
group to ask this question but:

I've installed VS.NET 2002 successfully a number of times on my laptop, but
when I attempted to install VS.NET 2003 on my workstation, the progress bar
hit's 100% and then sits there for
40 minutes, after which I get the message 'User has aborted the
installation, press cancel to quit'.

Is this because I killed the process the first time with taskmanager because
I thought the installation was hanging?

Is there a registry setting I can change to fix this problem?

All help will be much appreciated.

Thanks
Jean
