I am having a problem with a number of pages in the .NET help: when I click
on the topic, all I get is a beep. No error message, just a beep. Here are
a few example pages:
Console Application Template, under "Visual Basic and Visual C# Projects"
(ms-help://MS.VSCC/MS.MSDNVS/vbcon/html/vbconConsoleApplicationTemplate.htm)
EventArgs members, under Reference/Class Library/System/EventArgs class
(ms-help://MS.VSCC/MS.MSDNVS/cpref/html/frlrfSystemEventArgsMembersTopic.htm
)
I do get other topics to display, some even in the same topic areas as the
unsuccessful topics. For example, the "EventArgs constructor" page, which
is in the same category as "EventArgs members", will display.
I did get a piece of information when I tried "Print Topic": the printout
stated "Action canceled. Internet Explorer was unable to link to the Web
page you requested. The page might be temporarily unavailable."
I suppose it is possible that the topic's page is missing from my hard
drive, but in that case isn't VS.NET supposed to prompt me to insert a CD
rather than just beeping at me?
