invalid user / password on installing the windows services.

Sam
Hi everyone,

I create a windows service and its installer in VS Net.
but when I try to install it on command line, "installutil myservice.exe" ,I
kept receiving the error message:

System.ComponentModel.Win32Exception: The account name is invalid
or does not exist, or the password is invalid for the account name
specified

I already try administrator and my own account, however no one works.

any clue????

yup - principle of least privilege and all that - suggest you try
running as the LocalService account, before moving up to LocalSystem -
though if its not running under a machine administrator account,
something else might be amiss - i take it all works fine on your
development machine...?
