Serial# component for .NET?

If I wrote a shareware app and I wanted to maybe allow an X-day trial
period, but they could enter a serial# to unlock it.. how would I do
that? I'm sure there are plenty of components already out there. Can
anyone recommend any? (preferably freeware, but shareware is ok)

Thanks

Thanks! Does it work OK with .NET? And C#?

It should works with .Net. It is a COM component. You will also need to
deploy VB6 runtime files.

If you have the time, I might suggest writing your own. First, you'll
save some money, you'll get some experience, and, it's easier to
disable a pre-made component, since there is more need to disable it.
It isn't that hard.
