need help In Global.asax

Hi Guys,

I need a clarification regarding Global.asax file and webconfig file.

When I was working in ASP I used to give my database connection in
Global.asa. Now in .Net we have two file Global.asax and Webconfig files. I
learnt that in both these files I can give then database connectivity.

I need to know in which of these file is efficient in handling the database
connectivity. Please give some suggestions regarding the same.

Have a look at
http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/de...us/dnnetsec/ht
ml/secnetch05.asp. It describes how to further secure connection strings
stored in web.config or registry.
